What to put in your message
The more you can tell us up front, the quicker and more accurate the quote. Useful things to mention:
- Where you are — the town, and the postcode if it's handy
- What needs decorating — which rooms or outside areas, and roughly how big
- The surfaces involved — walls, ceilings, woodwork, or wallpaper to hang or strip
- The condition — cracks, flaking paint, bare plaster or old paper all change the prep
- Any timescale — moving in, between tenancies, or getting ready to sell
- Whether the property will be lived in while we work
Don’t worry if you can’t answer all of that — a rough idea is plenty, and we’ll cover the rest when we come and take a look.

We’re interior and exterior painters and decorators, working in homes and business premises. Repainting a single room, a whole-house redecoration, exterior masonry and woodwork, wallpapering and feature walls, or turning a rental around between tenancies — if it involves paint, paper or the preparation underneath, we can quote for it.

We’re based at 34 High Rd, Broxbourne EN10 7ND in the Lea Valley and work a 40-mile radius across Hertfordshire, Essex and north London. The towns below are our core patch, but they’re not an exhaustive list — if you’re nearby, it’s always worth asking.

- Yes. Quotes are free and no-obligation, with no hidden extras. We'll look at the job, tell you honestly what it needs, and give you a clear price. If the timing isn't right or you want to compare quotes, that's fine — there's no hard sell.
- What happens after I send the form?
- Your message comes straight through to us — usually it's Ash who'll get back to you. We'll talk the job through, arrange a convenient time to come and take a look if it needs one, and then give you a clear quote. For anything urgent, call us instead — we're open every day, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
- Do you need to visit before quoting?
- For most jobs, yes. A quick look at the actual rooms or exterior is the only way to quote accurately — the preparation a surface needs is usually the biggest part of the price, and you can't see that from a description. It's also a chance to meet us and ask anything.
- Do you cover my area?
- We're based in Broxbourne and work a 40-mile radius across Hertfordshire, Essex and north London. If you're not sure whether we reach you, just ask — and if we can't help, we'll say so straight away rather than waste your time.
- Do you quote for business premises as well as homes?
- Yes. We decorate offices, shops, rentals and communal areas as well as homes, and we're fully insured for both — public liability up to £2 million and employer's liability up to £10 million.
