Terms of Service

These terms apply to all work carried out by BGDecorators Limited. By accepting a quotation or making a booking, you agree to them.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by BGDecorators Limited (“Company”, “we” or “us”) to our clients. By accepting a quotation and/or making a booking, you (“Client”) agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Quotation validity

  • All quotations we provide are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Any additional work outside the scope of the original quotation will be quoted separately and is subject to additional charges.

3. Payment terms

  • A 10% deposit is required to confirm and secure your project booking.
  • The remaining balance is due on project completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payment is by bank transfer; our account details are provided on your invoice, with your invoice number as the reference.
  • Failure to pay the final balance within 5 days of completion may result in additional charges or action to recover outstanding amounts.

4. Project start date & timeline

  • Start dates are subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. We will let you know about any delays as soon as we can.
  • Project timelines are estimates, and any changes will be communicated to you as needed.

5. Client responsibilities

  • You agree to provide access to the premises during agreed working hours for the duration of the project.
  • You are responsible for removing personal belongings or obstructions from the work area unless otherwise agreed.
  • Changes or additional requests made after work has started may result in a revised timeline and additional charges.

6. Cleanliness & site protection

  • We take all reasonable precautions to protect the worksite, including quality sheeting and protective coverings. Please remove or tell us about any fragile or valuable items in the work area.
  • We leave the worksite clean and tidy on completion. Any additional cleaning beyond our standard service can be arranged for an additional fee.

7. Insurance & liability

  • We are fully insured, covering public liability and damage caused directly by our work.
  • We are not liable for damage to items or areas outside the work zone unless it is a direct result of our negligence.

8. Quality & inspection

We do not offer a fixed warranty period; instead, all work is checked with you on the final day of the project, and we only consider it complete when you’re happy. While we use high-quality materials, we cannot guarantee materials supplied by third parties.

9. Cancellation & rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled start date receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the start date forfeit the deposit.
  • Rescheduling is permitted with at least 14 days’ notice; we’ll do our best to accommodate new dates based on availability.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or an inability to complete a project due to events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters or other unforeseen events.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes before their project starts.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
